Reach1 to Teach1 Foundation is a nonprofit organization devoted to the positive development of young boys through structured, compassionate, and community-rooted mentorship. Founded with a vision to inspire the next generation of leaders, our programs are designed to equip young men with the tools, values, and support systems they need to thrive, both personally and socially.
We believe every boy has untapped greatness within him. However, too many lack the guidance, representation, and encouragement necessary to discover it. At Reach1 to Teach1, we connect youth with mentors who serve not only as role models but as active partners in their journey toward resilience, character, and leadership.
Our programs focus on key developmental areas, including self-esteem building, emotional intelligence, academic support, leadership training, life skills, and community involvement. We work collaboratively with families, schools, and other local partners to create an environment of accountability and love.
Whether it's through one-on-one mentoring, group workshops, or special events, Reach1 to Teach1 Foundation remains deeply rooted in the belief that “it only takes one” to make a difference. By reaching one young man, we teach one how to get others, sparking a chain reaction of excellence, compassion, and success.
Our foundation isn’t just a mentoring program; it’s a movement toward healing, empowerment, and the transformation of underserved youth.
Veguerre Paul is the passionate and visionary founder behind Reach1 to Teach1 Foundation. With a heart rooted in service and a calling to uplift young men, Veguerre created the organization out of a deep personal understanding of what it means to grow up without positive male role models, and the life-changing impact just one mentor can make.
Born and raised in a community where many boys faced more adversity than opportunity, Veguerre recognized early on the importance of mentorship. Drawing from his own life experiences, community involvement, and years of working with youth, he developed a mission to guide boys toward purpose, discipline, and self-worth.
Veguerre believes that success doesn’t come from circumstance; it comes from support, accountability, and being seen. Through Reach1 to Teach1, he has created a safe space where young men are not only heard but empowered to lead. His approach combines compassion with structure, addressing real-life challenges while building character and resilience.
As a mentor, speaker, and community leader, Veguerre continues to inspire through action. His leadership has directly impacted dozens of youth who now serve as living proof of what can happen when someone invests in their future. He regularly collaborates with schools, churches, and grassroots organizations to build bridges for the next generation.
Veguerre’s story is not about perfection—it’s about progress. It’s about choosing to break generational cycles and build legacy through love and leadership.
At the heart of his work is a simple yet powerful message: If you can reach one, you can teach one.
The Power of Mentorship
Mentorship is more than advice; it’s a transformation. At Reach1 to Teach1 Foundation, we believe mentorship is the bridge between where a boy is and who he’s destined to become. Every child deserves someone to guide, uplift, and believe in them. We strive to fill that gap.
Through consistent engagement, real-world conversations, and structured programming, we give young men the support and accountability they need to rise above challenges. Our mentors walk beside them, celebrating their victories, helping navigate failure, and modeling what strength, responsibility, and leadership look like.
Research shows that mentored youth are more likely to finish school, pursue careers, avoid negative peer pressure, and develop stronger interpersonal skills. But beyond the data, we’ve seen firsthand what mentorship does: it changes lives. It turns hurt into hope, doubt into confidence, and fear into resilience.
Our programs are intentionally designed to go beyond surface-level check-ins. We invest deeply in each participant through personalized goal-setting, community service projects, leadership summits, and life coaching sessions that develop the whole person.
From one-on-one relationships to group enrichment activities, we focus on creating a brotherhood, a support system that teaches young men how to lean in, speak up, and stand strong in their truth.
When you mentor one, you reach a generation. When you reach one, you teach one.
